![]() ![]() ![]() The first three seasons went quite quickly, but season 4 was a lot tougher and slower to get through. ![]() I started speeding it up a bit, then a bit more, and then I ended up having this weird system where I would set the queue to a specific number depending on how many posts were in it, but eventually I just sort of settled on ten a day. Of course, with only five posts a day, the queue filled up quickly and I was watching Princess Prom by this point. I actually briefly considered stopping if no-one was interested, but by the time we got through The Sword there were usually a handful of people interacting, which was plenty. Combine that with no-one following me for She-Ra yet (how did the first of you find me anyway? Do some of you regularly tag-search Tumblr?) and many of my first posts not being very interesting if I’m honest, and things were quiet at first. I remember I had the queue publishing only five posts a day at the time. So I watched both parts of The Sword, taking the occasional screencap for later, and then proceeded to take a couple days to actually sit down and make some posts. I couldn’t get a friend to rewatch it with me, though, so I was like ‘well, why not scream my thoughts into the void Tumblr?’ I’d done that with parts of Doctor Who and Steven Universe in the past, and figured it might be fun. I started doing this basically because a little while after finishing She-Ra for the first time, I was still really into it and wanted to watch it again and share my thoughts about it. Since that’s interspersed with reblogs and art and occasional non-She-Ra stuff, I figure allowing for 140 or so non-rewatch posts in there probably gets us a fairly accurate number). My screencaps folder is currently 22.2 GB in size, with 20022 pictures in it! Overall, I seem to have made about 1850 posts with them (the exact number is a little tricky to figure out since the #she-ra rewatch tag is broken, but the first post is on page 199 of my blog. It has, however, also been way, way more work than I thought it was gonna be. And that’s the end of my She-Ra rewatch! After almost six months, we got there! Even beyond the joys of getting to rewatch this awesome show, this has been a ton of fun to do. ![]()
